Nitro Canyon Run

Nitro Canyon Run is pure arcade racing with no simulation pretensions. You tilt or tap to steer through narrow canyon courses, and the whole game is about building boost by drifting cleanly through corners. It is loud, fast, and very easy to pick up.

The tap-steering option is the one to use on a phone, since tilt gets awkward on a bus. Tracks are varied enough, and the rubber-band difficulty keeps races close without feeling scripted most of the time.

Progression leans on car upgrades, and the grind is noticeable in the later leagues. Still, the core driving feels great, and a single race is short enough to be a perfect quick break.
